The flight bringing back the first batch of Nigerians arriving from South Africa has been delayed due to immigration issues. So far, about 187 people have been cleared and are undergoing biometrics.

Correspondent Joy Kalio reports that the airplane returning with the first batch of Nigerians returning home will be delayed till later this evening. It is unconfirmed the exact time that the flight will touch down.

Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa told Correspondent Joy Kalio that the Federal Government is providing food and medical support/personnel for those who will be arriving later today.

The second batch of travellers are billed to return on Thursday and Nigeria Info will be on ground to cover their arrival.
