The Real Reason Supreme Court Suspended Governorship Hearing
The Supreme Court in Abuja has suspended the hearing in six governorship appeals before it to Tuesday.
Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Tanko Muhammad was forced to suspend hearing in the governorship tussle on Monday citing illness to one of the seven Justices as a reason.
The CJN who resumed sitting in the appeals after retiring to his chambers earlier due to congestion in the courtroom suddenly announced a suspension of the hearing.
The six states in the appeal are Imo, Kano, Sokoto, Bauchi, Plateau and Benue.
