SANWO-OLU SIGNS FIRST EXECUTIVE ORDER
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the newly inaugurated Lagos State Governor has signed his first Executive Order, which addresses traffic control and management, potholes on the roads, sanitation, and cleaning of drainage systems in the state.
The Order also seeks to ensure zero tolerance for environmental abuse, including illegal and indiscriminate dumping of refuse and construction of structures on drainage points and setbacks.
The governor, who signed the Executive Order in the presence of Security Chiefs and Heads of relevant agencies in the state, sought the support and cooperation of military personnel in the implementation of the Order.
He also charged the Lagos State Transport Management Agency to ensure strict compliance with all extant traffic laws, adding that another pronouncement will be made soon to address driving against traffic on Lagos roads.
