PRESIDENT BUHARI THANKS MINISTERS FOR SERVING
President Muhammadu Buhari has directed all cabinet ministers to remain in office until May 28.
The directive was given by the President at the Presidential Villa in Abuja during the valedictory session of the Federal Executive Council (FEC). The meeting, the last before the May 29 inauguration was held behind closed doors with a cabinet expected to be dissolved at the end to signify the end of Buhari’s first term as President.
Buhari insructed the ministers to hand over the mantle of leadereship of their various ministries to their respective permanaent secretaries on Tuesday.
Furthermore, President Buhari thanked the ministers for serving the nation during “difficult times”.
Vice-president Yemi Osibanjo on his part thanked the the President for the great opportunity given to him to serve as Vice-President and running mate to the President.
