Nigerians and their eating habits
Health they say is wealth. A healthy life could lead to a wealthy life.
Food is necessary for growth and development and regular, appropriate eating helps ensure this. Developing a good eating culture is very important but difficult to imbibe, especially in this climes. With little or no time spent on planning a good diet and eating culture, the average Nigerian is forced to depend mostly on inorganic foods as against the traditional diet we were used to. The recommended balanced diet has been replaced with processeed, unhealthy foods leading to a not so healthy lifestyle.
On this week’s edition of The Health Station with Carla, we look at the eating habits of people in this climes, Nigerians specifically. By dint of geographic location and social status, does the eating habits of people in the rural areas differ from that of those in urban areas? What can be done to correct and better the eating habit of Nigerians?
