NEMA Receives 173 Nigerians From Libya

The National Emergency Management Agency says it has received two new batches of 173 stranded Nigerians from Libya.

 

The returnees who arrived in two different flights were received on Tuesday by the Coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office, Idris Muhammed at the cargo wing of the Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja.

 

According to the profiling of the returnees, 52 adult females, 4 female children and 4 male infants, as well as 106 adult males, 2 male children, and 5 male infants make up the 173 returnees.

 

Ibrahim Farinloye, Spokesman NEMA, told correspondent Joy Kalio that 21 of the returnees had medical issues.
