Nigerian rapper and former CEO of Chocolate City Jude Abaga popularly known as MI has announced his exit from the music label. The music executive also announced he would be kicking off his own label Incredible Music.

 

MI signed with Chocolate City in 2007 and was appointed CEO in 2015. ‘The Chairman’ released 5 albums, 3 mixed tapes and 1 playlist with his former label.

 

As an artiste with Choc City, MI became one of the most celebrated rappers in Africa and some would even say he established himself as Nigerian’s greatest rapper. He also won numerous award during his run with Chocolate City including Best Hip Hop and Best New Act at the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards.

 

He has already released his 10th studio project ‘Judah The EP’ under his self-owned label.
