MENTAL HEALTH AND FRUITS/VEGGIES
Fruits and vegetables are very important for one’s physical health as they are for mental health too. Eating fruits and vegetables according to a recent study, help increases one’s mental well being and life satisfaction in general.
Adding one portion of fruits and vegetables which could be one cup of raw veggies, half cup of cooked veggies, fruits such as apples, mangoes, banana etc to our diet can help with mental well-being as fruits are powerhouses of vitamin C and E which help lower inflamatory markers of depressive mood.
