LAGOS TO BEGIN PUBLIC SCHOOLS RENNOVATION
Lagos State Government has revealed plans to rehabilitate some public schools in bad shape in the state.
State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat made the promise on Monday during an inspection tour of some public schools in the state. Mr. Hamzat said it has become worrisome that pupils are currently learning in a poor environment.
According to him, part of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration's six pillar agenda is to deliver quality education by investing in the sector.
He rehabilitation of the schools will begin when schools go on holiday.
Correspondent Maureen Ogolor, who was on tour with the governor, said most of the classrooms have no doors, have leaking roofs, and have no chairs.
