Coach Massimilliano Allegri will leave Serie A champions Juventus at the end of the seson.

Allegri who won the league title in each of his five seasons since he took charge as manager, held meetings with the club’s hierarchy earlier in the week during which a clear disagreement between the two parties emerged.

The Turin club have two league games remaining this season, beginning with Sunday’s clash with Atalanta at home before travelling to Sampdoria  on May 26.

Allegri had last week laughed off suggestions that he was leaving the club saying, “I enjoyed reading and hearing everything”.

The Bianconeri failed to make it past the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the second successive season despite signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid last summer.

Allegri and Andre Agnelli, club president are set to speak at a news conference on Saturday.
