I Won’t Be Seeking a Third Term- Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari has cleared the air on speculations that he might be seeking a third time by amending the constitution.
Buhari revealed he will not go for a third term while speaking at the All Progressive Congress (APC) National Executive Council meeting in Abuja on Friday.
He said he had read the constitution and it stipulates just two terms which he is willing not to tamper with but to obey.
He also maintained that he will be ready to hand over willingly to another president come 2023.
Speaking further, President Buhari lambasted the 16 years of Peoples’ Democratic Party’s (PDP) ruling without infrastructural development despite huge revenue from crude oil.
