I am Ready to Work with Ihedioha - Uzodinma
By Uzo Hope
Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma says he is willing to work with ousted Governor, Emeka Ihedioha for the good of the state.
Uzodinma said this at the government house in Owerri while reacting to the Supreme Court’s judgment that reaffirmed his victory at the March 19 Governorship election.
“It is not every time you win. It is also not every time you lose. When you win, you carry the losers along. When you lose, you follow those who won. So my advice to them is to come and bring their ideas, let us team up, create a signage that would develop Imo state and bring succor to our people.”
According to him, the Supreme Court’s dismissal of the appeal review brought by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Emeka Ihedioha, represents the true expectations and mandate of Imo indigenes.
While commending the wisdom of the Supreme Court in standing by the truth, the Governor expressed appreciation to God that truth prevailed in the end.
“It is my hope that God will give me the wisdom to do that which He will take Glory. So I invite all Imo citizens to come, let us team up to take our state to the next level.”
“Because I know I have a vision. And that vision is a well thought out vision that will develop Imo state, bring prosperity, bring development and then create long life for our people.” Uzodinma said.
