Former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe is Dead

Zimbabwe's ex-President Robert Mugabe is dead.
The former leader of the Southern African country passed away at the age of 95 years old in Singapore.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa tweeted early this morning that the erstwhile leader had passed away.

Cde Mugabe was an icon of liberation, a pan-Africanist who dedicated his life to the emancipation and empowerment of his people. Mugabe had led Zimbabwe as Prime Minister from 1980 to 1987 and then as President from 1987 to 2017 before he was ousted in November 2017. He took ill after he was humiliated out of office and had been undergoing treatment in Singapore for an undisclosed illness since April.
