Coronavirus: Senate Suspends Public Hearings

All public hearings have been suspended by the Senate. The suspension which is to take effect from next week Tuesday is part of the precautionary measures to check the spread of Coronavirus.
The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan disclosed this on Thursday after a closed-door session which lasted nearly two hours.
He also mentioned that the Senate gallery will be shut down to all manners of visitors and excursions to the National assembly would also be put on hold.
