CAF CC: Enyimba, Rangers Know Opponents

Nigeria’s representatives at this season’s Total CAF Confederations Cup, Enyimba and Rangers have found out their group opponents following the draw that was conducted at the CAF headquarters in Cairo on Tuesday.
Two-time CAF Champions League winners Enyimba FC were drawn in Group D alongside FC San Pedro of Cote d’Ivoire. The Peoples’ Elephant will also trade tackles with two North African sides, Paradou A.C of Algeria and Morocco’s Hassania US Agadir.
On their part, Rangers International of Enugu will battle for qualification from Group A along with Mauritania new boys Noadhibou, with Egyptian duo of El Masry and newcomers Pyramids FC making up the group.
In Group B, South Africa’s Bidvest Wits, Libya’s Al Nasr, Horoya of Guinea and Djoliba AC will all lock horns while Group C will see last year’s beaten finalists Berkane RS of Morocco battle Zanaco FC of Zambia, ESAE FC of Benin and DC Motema Pembe of DR Congo for qualification to the next round.
The Group stage begins on 1 December, 2019.
