Aubameyang Voted Premier League Player of the Month
Arsenal striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang has been named Premier League Player of the Month for September.
The Gabon International netted five times in September including the equaliser at Old Trafford to earn the Gunners a point as Arsenal won once and drew thrice to go undefeated in the month.
Aubameyang wins the award for the second time since his arrival in the Premier League, having won it in October 2018.
The 30 year-old scopped the award ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kevin De Bruyne, Riyad Mahrez, John McGinn, Ricardo Perreira, Son Heung-Min and Callum Wilson.
A panel of football experts, the 20 club captains as well as the public voted for their choice from the eight-man shortlist.
Arsenal are currently third on the log with 15 points from eight matches and will next take on Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in the league.
