Adoke To Remain In EFCC Custody
Former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Mohamed Adoke will remain in EFCC custody for at least the next 14 days pending further investigations of his alleged corruption case.
This was made official after Justice Othman Musa of the Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja on Friday, granted the request of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) n ex-parte application moved EFCC's lawyer, Fatima Mustapha to that effect.
A former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke (SAN), was arrested upon his arrival yesterday at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.
The former AGF, had been on self-exile since his tenure ended in 2015 but was reportedly arrested in November by Interpol in Dubai to face charges in connection with the Malabu Oil deal in Nigeria.
