Reactions have trailed a media report stating that the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan asked patients to pay a fee of one thousand naira for power supply.
One of such reactions is this caller on Nigeria Info’s Sunnyside, who believes the management of the hospital made a wise decision.
He argued that the hospital has done this in the best interest of its patients because same people will blame the management for not adequately carrying out its responsibilities due to power failure.
Commending the hospital’s resolve to ensure patients are attended to, regardless of the crippling electricity situation in the country, he urged the government to provide the hospital with a license to have its own power generating plant.
