A Federal High Court in Abuja, on Friday gave a directive to the Department of State Services (DSS) to bring before the court on July 29, the 12 detained associates of Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, a.k.a Sunday Igboho.
The presiding judge, Justice Obiora Egwuatu gave the order after Counsel to the applicants, Pelumi Olajengbesi, moved the ex-parte motion marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/647/2021 dated July 7 and filed July 8.
Egwuatu also ordered the DSS to provide a reason if they want to continue to keep the applicants.
The DSS had on July 1st at a press conference, announced the arrest of 13 associates of Igboho.
Recall that these associates were arrested in a raid on Igboho’s residence in the Soka area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
