Radio show host, Jimi Disu has reacted to the award of National Honours to 447 recipients.
Disu, discussing with Sheriff Quadry on the Morning Crossfire raised concerns about the moral records of some of the awardees.
"Someone who has been indicted in a case of mass manslaughter was actually given an honour yesterday.
"This is not to condemn anybody but look at how long it took to honour Stella Adadevoh who should have been honoured at death,” he said.
Additionally, the Daily Digest host suggested that reducing the number of awardees could be considered to increase the value and dignity of the award and to motivate people to do good for the country to earn the award.
