Southern Governors' Resolution on NDDC Forensic Audit Report Is Peripheral - Political Analyst

A professor of Politics and Governance, Kenneth Nweke, says the demand of southern governors that the NDDC forensic audit report be made public is not as important as ensuring real development for the Niger Delta people.

The southern governors after a meeting at the Rivers State Government House on Monday, not only resolved to join the lawsuit on Value Added Tax collection which is before the Supreme Court, but also called on the federal government to make public the forensic audit report of the NDDC. 

Professor Nweke reacting to this in an interview on the Morning Crossfire, stressed that there should be other resolutions that go beyond making the report public.
