According to Good Spa Guide, massage is a treatment that uses different kinds of physical contact to relax, revive and heal the body. It is used to treat a wide range of emotional and physical health problems and is one of the most popular treatments on a spa menu.
However, that relaxing feeling about massages can be a source of worry for couples. Why? This is what Collins Teke and Andrea Teke sought to find out in this edition of Whats Up Lagos.
Simply put, are you ok with your partner getting a massage from the opposite sex? Collins Teke asks.
“I am among the people who won’t allow my spouse go for it (Massage),” said one caller, “Anytime she mentions it, I will do it myself,” he added
“Some people’s communication works through touches, you can switch me on through touches,” he explains further.
However, another caller finds nothing wrong with the idea. “The person that is been massaged should position his/her mind well, you went for a massage, leave the other thoughts behind,” he says.
While sharing their own experience, show hosts Collins and Andrea Teke agreed it is simply too “risky.”
