Jimi Disu has expressed worry at the rising tension in the South East, fuelled by the differences between the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) and both the state and federal government.

Disu was reacting to the threat by IPOB to issue a fresh one-month sit-at-home protest in the region, if its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is not brought to court on October 21.
