Analyst, Jimi Disu has expressed surprise at the omission of the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, from the list of ministers affected by the cabinet reshuffle made by President Muhammadu Buhari.
President Buhari on Wednesday, sacked the Ministers of Agriculture, Mohammed Nanono and his Power counterpart, Saleh Mamman replacing them with Minister of Environment, Mohammed Abubakar and Minister of State for Works, Abubakar Aliyu respectively.
Reacting to the news, Disu angrily pointed out that the President should have added Ngige to the list of Ministers to be let go or reshuffled, due to his handling of the ongoing doctors’ strike.
