Anti-natalism, a belief that the act of procreation is wrong or unjustifiable, was the conversation on Nigeria Info’s Sunnyside.

Anti-natalist takes up this course for several reasons including worries about overpopulation and the environment.  But; is choosing not to have children a selfish decision?

A caller the Sunnyside believes the decision to have kids is a personal one, and no one should be forced against their will to bear or not bear children.

Sharing a story of a relative who chose not to have kids, she explains to Denise Dennis that an anti-natalist idea could also be hinged on genetic, financial, health, or moral reasons.

However, she maintains that nobody has the right to force their idea on another.
