World Leaders React to Biden’s Withdrawal from U.S. Presidential Race

Foreign leaders are reacting to U.S. President Joe Biden’s decision to end his reelection campaign.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he had known President Biden for years and that “He’s a great man.”

According to him, Biden’s passion for his nation drives all he does In his role as president.

“Thanks to him, transatlantic cooperation is close, NATO is strong, and the U.S. is a good and reliable partner for us.”

“His decision not to run again deserves recognition,” he said.

The new British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said, “I respect President Biden’s decision and I look forward to us working together during the remainder of his presidency.”

He stated that Biden's choice would have been based on what he considered to be the greatest interests of the American people.

Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez of Spain expressed admiration for Biden's gallant and dignity-filled choice.

He stated that after overcoming the pandemic-related economic crisis and the significant attack on the Capitol, the United States had demonstrated exceptional leadership in defending Ukraine against Russia’s Vladimir Putin's actions.

Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris also said Biden consistently advocated for peace on the island of Ireland in all the positions he has served.

Some of the other world leaders who have reacted to Biden’s withdrawal are Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitri Peskov.

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Stoere and his Polish and Czech counterparts Donald Tusk and Petr Fiala have also respectively reacted to Biden’s withdrawal from the U.S. presidential race.
