Anambra State governor, Chukwuma Soludo has assured residents and visitors to the state of adequate security, before during, and after Christmas and New Year.
The governor gave the guarantee in a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime.
He dismissed a message that has gone viral on social media, listing some roads and junctions in the state as flashpoints where there could be attacks.
He described the rumor as mischievous, misleading, and untrue.
Governor Soludo also said the state was leveraging technology to enable people to call and share messages and videos of insecurity.
