Nigerian biker, Kunle Adeyanju who embarked on a tour from London to Lagos on 19 April will arrive in Lagos on 29 May.

He made this known on his verified Twitter handle over the weekend, after arriving in Ghana Friday night.

The author and entrepreneur entered the Gold Coast after departing Cote d'Ivoire on Thursday.

In the Gold Coast, he appreciated Ghanaians for their jollof rice while confessing his preference for Nigerian jollof.

Adeyanju wrote, "in order to meet the yearnings of my Ghanaian brothers & sister on effective dissemination of #EndPolio message & meeting with stakeholders, my arrival date is now Sunday the 29th!"

The adventurer’s 12,000km charity ride is to raise awareness about the dangers of polio and to help raise funds for immunisation.

On his trip, the lone rider complained about Mauritania being the worst of the more than 75 countries he had visited.

Adeyanju decried the unfriendly attitude of Mauritanians when he tweeted, "the people are unfriendly, they are mean and all they think about when they see you as a foreigner is what they can grab, forcefully, deceitfully or cunningly from you."
