Tributes are pouring in for the veteran journalist and developmental data expert, Rotimi Sankore, who passed on last week.

Among those remembering him are journalists across various platforms as well as Nigeria Info listeners who testified that they gained a lot from his wealth of knowledge while he was on the air.

For the broadcast journalist, Wemimo Adewuni, Sankore looked out for her even while he battled cancer.

The former Programs Manager of Nigeria Info FM, Abuja, Femi Amele, can’t forget how Sankore, who was passionate about data journalism growth, invested his time in his (Femi’s) personal and career growth.

A sports journalist with Nigeria Info, Anthony, describes Sankore as a man with “limitless” knowledge.

The presidential candidate of the KOWA party in the 2015 election, Remi Sonaiya, considers him an “outstanding individual.”

For many others, “Public Square,” Sankore’s program on Nigeria Info was educative and had a huge impact on them.

Sankore died on Friday from cancer complications.
