President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in commissioners of the National Population Commission (NPC) as well as the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
The swearing-in took place on Wednesday, shortly before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The commissioners were confirmed last month by the Senate.
The ICPC commissioners are:
- Senator Anthony Agbo (Ebonyi)
- Ms. Anne Otelafu Odey (Cross River)
- Alh. Goni Ali Gujba (Yobe)
- Dr. Louis Solomon Mandama (Adamawa)
- Mr. Olugbenga Adeyanju (Ekiti State)
The National Population Commission (NPC) commissioners are:
- Mrs. Gloria Fateya Izonfo (Bayelsa)
- Dr. Eyitayo Oyekunle Oyetunji (Oyo)
- Ms. Kupchi Patricia Ori Iyanya (Benue)
- Chief Benedict Ukpong Effiong (Akwa Ibom)
- and Dr. Haliru Bala (Kebbi)
