Some New Nigeria Peoples Party candidates contesting for seats in the Osun State House of Assembly have decided to hold a mega rally in support of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
The NNPP’s candidate for Ifelodun State Constituency, Muideen Afolabi, disclosed this in a statement he released on behalf of eight other NNPP House of Assembly candidates.
In it, he accused the party of not campaigning for them or their presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, with less than two months to the 2023 General Election.
Afolabi also said the NNPP candidates in Osun State have started a door-to-door campaign for Tinubu.
He said the planned mega rally for Tinubu is in collaboration with “other National Assembly candidates who earlier dumped Kwankwaso.”
