"I caught myself joining them in that chant without even knowing," Sam tells Jude on Hello Port Harcourt, as he describes how he unintentionally joined in a chant from a church next to his house.

From the blare of religious activities to the relentless barking of dogs, callers also shared their unusual and often humorous encounters with noise pollution in the conversation about the growing menace in Nigerian neighbourhoods.

One caller complained about the challenge of holding a conversation amidst the cacophony, while another shared his frustration after reporting the noise to his youth leader, only to be questioned about his church attendance.

A third caller painted a picture of sleepless nights due to the relentless barking of dogs in the neighbourhood, lamenting the lack of peace and quiet.
