Callers on Nigeria Info's Hello, Port Harcourt have shared their thoughts on handling underpayment at work.
One caller said he has resigned from several jobs rather than resort to dishonest means like others.
“In the Nigerian system, if you refuse to join them you may be set up. One or two persons will set you up,” he said.
Another caller said she would first try to recover the money owed to her, then move on. “I’ll make sure I recover everything before leaving,” she said.
A third caller noted the difficulty of simply leaving and suggested that “having multiple income streams” is smarter.
