In a bold response to recent suspension reports, Rivers State Labour Party Chairperson Hilda Dokubo has addressed reports about her suspension from the party.
Speaking on Nigeria Info’s Hard Facts, Dokubo firmly denied the report, asserting that she remains active in her role and revealing the political motives behind the reports.
“This is a distraction. They are so afraid and worried that we’re about to clean up this state, win hands down the local government election,” she said.
Dokubo alleged that there has been mounted pressure on her party to drop a court case against some defected PDP members.
“We will conclude that case properly,” she added.
