Nigerians have been reacting as the chairman of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Chijioke Ihunwo, appointed 130 Special Assistants. This is the second time in 6 months he would appoint over 100 SAs.
On Nigeria Info FM’s Hard Facts, a caller lamented saying, “they add no value to governance.”
Another caller stated that the appointment of numerous Special Assistants is a precedent set by previous administrations and a form of corruption.
