The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has threatened to confront the Federal government over the nationwide strike embarked on by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU)
In an interview with Sheriff Quadry, NANS President Sunday Asefon, believes that the strike is totally unnecessary, claiming that ASUU did not consult the students' association before embarking on the strike.
Speaking on the next course of action, Asefon said the union will meet on Saturday and should come out with a clear decision by midday.
The students' president also spoke about their demands and conditions to withdraw their plans.
