The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) have blamed water, poor sanitation and hygiene for the cholera outbreak currently ravaging parts of the country.
NCDC’s Assistant Director and Head of Events Based Surveillance Hassan Muntari said this in an interview on Nigeria Info’s Morning Crossfire.
Over 3500 lives have been lost to the cholera epidemic in the last year but Muntari notes that for this outbreak to end, there are rules that must be adhered to.
