Public Affairs analyst, Jimi Disu believes that immediate past Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, may be on his way back into the political scene.
He said this On Morning Crossfire after Ambode broke his long silence on Tuesday by putting out a social media post asking Nigerian youths to register and get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to vote in the 2023 elections.
Disu believes this is not just a meaningless move but one that favours a long-running rumour about the former governor’s political ambition, which he says is “within his rights”.
“Either Ambode is going to contest or whoever is going to contest should take him into the reckoning,” he added.
