Israel-Gaza Conflict: "It's Nothing Short of Genocide" - Femi Fani-Kayode

"This was not a question of fighting Hamas or eliminating Hamas. It was an opportunity that presented itself to extremists in Israel to eliminate people in the Gaza Strip."

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode disclosed this on NigeriaInfo's Borderlines.

Fani-Kayode noted that though the incident in October is "very condemnable," Israel's is nothing short of "genocide, ethnic cleansing, barbarism in its worst form."

According to him, the world despite race and religion needs to speak up and call for the end of the "slaughter of women and children" in Gaza.

The minister stated that the incident of October 7th should not be seen in isolation as Palestinians are "people that have been occupied, tormented and chased out of their land for so many years."

"We want peace, we want justice and if we want peace, then we must give justice to the Palestinian people," he said.

Judaism, Jewish and Zionism

Femi Fani-Kayode further revealed that "the most traditional Jews and the most conservative form of Judaism are actually against what Netanyahu is doing and do not believe in this expansionist idea of a greater Israel."

He noted that there is a difference between Judaism (a faith that has suffered for many years and is filled with noble people) and the people who are running Israel now.

Fani-Kayode added that "Zionism is an ideology that was created by Theodor Herzl and they believe the Jewish people are the master race, God's chosen people and they are entitled to establish what once was the kingdom of Israel under King David."

"They also believe they must use politics to enhance the philosophy and the belief of apartheid and that is to say any person that is not with them is not fit to be treated humanely," he said.

According to him, it is time for the world to wake up to the subjugation and bondage of Palestinians and call for justice.
