On Daily Digest, Jimi Disu asked listeners what they thought of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo running for President of Nigeria in 2023.
The responses he received were polarizing, but two stood out.
One was Alex, who described the Vice President as the “biggest disappointment of this administration”.
She said this is because he came into the office with a pedigree that many thought would complement the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government, but this has not been so.
She condemned all attempts to separate VP Osinbajo from the perceived failure of President Muhammadu Buhari.
On the other hand, Patrick Adenusi, another caller, believes we need someone like Osinbajo to run Nigeria in 2023.
Adenusi highlighted Osinbajo’s strength and why he shouldn’t be blamed for the shortcomings of the current administration.
