World leaders, football stars, fans, and organizations are mourning Pelé who died Thursday at the age of 82.
His daughter, Kely Nascimento announced the passing of the Santos FC former star on her Instagram page saying "We love you infinitely. Rest in peace.”
A tweet was also sent from the footballer’s official Twitter handle, announcing his death.

Since then, eulogies have been pouring in for the late footballer who dazzled the world with his skills.
Football governing body, FIFA acknowledged the late Pelé as the only man to win the World Cup thrice.

Pelé’s boyhood club, Santos simply tweeted the picture of a crown and wrote “eternal.”

World leaders are not left out. Brazil’s president, Jair Bolsonaro praised Pelé for turning football into “art and joy.”

US former president, Barack Obama said Pelé “understood the power of sports to bring people together.”

Five-time Ballon d'Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo referred to the football legend as an “inspiration to many.”
World Cup winner and seven-time Ballon d'Or winner, Lionel Messi wrote "rest in peace" on Instagram.
Other footballers are also mourning the demise of Pelé.

Italian football Journalist, Fabrizo Romano and other journalists have also paid tributes to Pelé. Romano described Pelé as a “man with a god-given talent.”
