Tuesday afternoon, social media went agog with many persons posting the inscription ‘JESUS’ on all platforms. Many others changed their display picture to ‘JESUS’.
Hence, ‘JESUS’ trended all Tuesday and into Wednesday on all social media platforms, especially Twitter.
It started when popular Nigerian gospel musician, Nathaniel Bassey put out a tweet urging people to make the name of ‘JESUS’ their display picture at noon.
Can we Make this picture our profile picture and tweet at 12 noon? 🤷♂️.Let’s release this precious ointment over our land and nation. JESUS.

Owo - Ondo state, and other parts of our nation in pain, We pray for you. May the Lord of all comfort, comfort all in pain and sorrow. Evil shall never prevail. And wicked shall not go unpunished. In Jesus’ name.

Meanwhile, some Twitter users pointed out that ‘JESUS’ won’t vote for Nigerians in the 2023 General Election hence the need for citizens to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and cast their ballots.
Don’t have a problem with religion, let’s be factual Jesus won’t come down to sort our problem, let’s start in our own little way by getting our PVC ready to vote. pic.twitter.com/DF1HEJRfIV

But allow us post our Jesus In peace!
