The federal government has launched a mechanism known as the Citizens’ Delivery Tracker to help Nigerians monitor the processes and priority areas of government.
It also offers a platform for real-time feedback on the assessment of projects, policies, and programs of government across the country.
Unveiling the App in Abuja on Monday, the Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination, Hadiza Usman, said it will allow citizens to track the key performance indicators and deliverables for all government ministries.
She added that the tracker app which conforms to President Tinubu’s desire for an inclusive and goal-oriented government can be downloaded at app.cdcu.gov.ng.
Lauding the initiative, the Development Director of the UK’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, Cynthia Rowe, said citizens desire trust and want to have a say in shaping their priorities.
Non-state actors were represented by the co-chair of Open Government Partnership, Nigeria, Obialunanma Nnaobi-Ayodele.
