President Muhammadu has sent his sympathy to the victims of the collapsed building on Church Street in Ebute Metta, Lagos.
The president’s condolence message is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
He commiserated with the “families of those who died, sustained injuries, and were affected in the building collapse.”
He also saluted the “courage and determination of the first responders, national and sub-national emergency agencies in Lagos State, and compassionate Nigerians” whose actions “led to the rescue of several persons, including many children.”
The president wished the injured a “speedy recovery.”
