The National Industrial Court on Friday ordered the Revenue Mobilization and Fiscal Allocation Committee (RMFAC) to immediately put machinery in place to ensure the upward review of judges’ salaries.
The NIC’s ruling follows a suit by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Sebastian Hon, who had approached the industrial court to seek a salary increase for Nigerian judges.
The court also ruled that a yearly or biannual upward review of salaries for affected judicial workers be put in place.
