Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has defected from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressive Congress, APC.
The announcement was made today by Delta State Commissioner for works, rural roads and public information, Charles Aniagwu, at the government house in Asaba after a PDP Delta Stakeholders meeting.
Aniagwu said the formal defection of the governor and his cabinet members as well as local government chairmen would take place next week Monday.
