Armed bandits have abducted an 18-year-old boy while inflicting injuries on other persons in the Kuje area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The abducted teenager, identified as Victor Egbon, is the foster son of the proprietor of a school, Supreme Kids Academy, located in Zone A, Anguwan Gade Extension of Kuje.
The boy's father, Abdulsalam Ozigi was seriously injured in early Monday morning attack, and was taken to the hospital.
Eyewitnesses say the bandits stormed Kuje at about 12:15 am and invaded the residence of the Ozigis.
There is now uneasy calm in the affected community, with residents going about their businesses by Monday afternoon.
