Vice President Kashim Shettima has appealed to former federal legislators to support the Tinubu administration, stressing that it has a genuine interest to transform the country.
He made the request on Wednesday while hosting a delegation of former colleagues from the 9th Senate at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Vice President Shettima said he formed permanent bonds and fraternity with his colleagues in the last four years.
He believes the relationships will linger for the rest of his life.
The leader of the delegation, Senator Philip Aduda, said the visit was not partisan but for the greater good of the country.
He pledged the support of the APC, PDP, and YPP senators for the Tinubu administration and prayed for the success of its policies and programs.
The delegation consists of Senators Sam Egwu, Aliyu Abdullahi, Gabriel Suswam, Emmanuel Bwacha, Uche Ekwunife, Stella Oduah, Biodun Olujimi, Hezekiah Dimka, and others.
