The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dumebi Kachikwu, says no coalition will succeed if Nigerians fail to exercise their right to vote.
Dumebi made this statement on Nigeria Info’s Hard Facts with Aghogho Oboh.
He said that Nigeria will have another trajectory if the number of Nigerians who don't vote turns out to vote.
According to him, the usual excuses we give for not voting, such as "there is going to be insecurity" and "our votes do not count," are smear campaigns used by big political parties to discourage Nigerians from voting.
The presidential candidate says the general election is an opportunity for Nigerians to set the country on the right course.
There have been rising calls for the formation of a coalition between some political parties to defeat the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC) and the opposition People's Democratic Party(PDP) in the 2023 general election.
