The NDLEA arrested 130 suspects in Kaduna State in October while in possession of illicit drugs weighing 1,728.536 kg.
Seven of those arrested are female.
The NDLEA Commander in the state, Umar Adoro told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Kaduna that the agency also dismantled 20 notorious drug joints, in addition to sealing seven properties linked to drug traffickers.
Mr. Adoro said the agency recovered fake N1,000 notes totaling N300,000 from the suspected drug traffickers.
The seized drugs comprised 1,388.811 kg of cannabis, 0.019 kg of cocaine, 0.001 kg of heroin, 7.666 kg of Tramadol, 331.786 kg of other psychotropic substances, and 0.253 kg of Methamphetamine.
Mr. Adoro said the agency conducted sensitization programs in secondary schools in Kafanchan, Kaduna, and Zaria in the month under review.
He appealed to residents to provide timely and useful information on illicit drug dealers.
He also advised parents and guardians to watch over their wards and the company they keep.
